10% – Progress|Pains|Plans

How’d your week go?

Do you even know what you got done?

  • Most of the time I don’t know what happened by the end of the week except with this little resource I started using recently
  • You’ll see what hit my head (literally)
  • Bit on future plans

Check it out:

In case you know an alternative word, lemme know:

(+ anything else you got out of this)

  1. Journals are really useful mashallah.

Alternative name: 10% Log Book? P^3 Pad (p to the power of three for Progress pains and plans – ok i’ll stop with the math)

BTW, keeping something dangerous like that on a high shelf is obviously not a good idea lol

  2. “feelings are for girls” my 12 year old brother would say “feelings are for teenagers”.

I can’t even remember what I did this previous week… wow. It’s like completely erased from my memory. What would u write in ur daily journal anyway? “Today I wrote an essay on blah blah blah and drew a supply demand graph. ’twas fun. (NOT)” That’s something I can’t figure out.

  3. Asslam alaikum bro

Just wanted tosay jazakhAllah for your videos and emails.

What i like most is that you seek to learn from what you experience in your daily life and that is something we can all do inshAllah. Allah provides us with many valuable lessons in life and i believe if we raise our awareness we will start to see the wisdom behind the events in our lives inshAllah, if not straight away or a later date in the Aakhira inshAllah. Keep up the good work bro!

  4. Videos are a lot better, none have Time to read stuff in today’s time life is too fast……………………… aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  5. @Sadiyah – That’s a cool name – P^3 Pad

I’m just glad it wasn’t one of the bigger ones 🙂 (they’ve transferred to me from my bro, he had a small collection of cool knives n sword set)

@Zainab – I didn’t know what to write in journals either, always imagined those “dear diary” things.

What to write – I like it for thinking about lessons from a recent experience and tracking results.
Ex. I’m finishing mid-terms now, so it’s time to plan out how I’ll avoid these disasters next time and actually use them (inshaAllah)
Ex. 3 days without anything worthwhile, put it in there. I’m “busy” with uni, but no progress with other projectsm lemme see what’s the issue here…

I’d recommend just have an outlet for thinking and to draw lessons from experiences. Even if you throw them out immediately, at least train the brain to think about the important stuff

    y’digg? (aka you know what i mean 🙂 )

  6. @nadir khan – wa alaikum assalaam warahmatullah Nadir, wa jazakum for the comment and encouragement.

Definitely true, about the raising our awareness about wisdom behind our life events.

@Afsah – ain’t that crazy– so fast >> so busy >> no time to think/reflect…

I usually don’t often get around to reading, but that’s one of the best things in the world (for me at least)
